My work illustrates idealized circumstances with the truth of the past and present always symbolically lingering. A complex portrait of physical, emotional, social, and financial ambitions and obstructions emerges. Through my computer screen, I create a digitally enhanced, highly curated, restored narrative; a utopian version of what could have been, what should have been, and what I want to be. Working with the practice of visualization, I play with the belief that the subconscious mind is unable to distinguish between real and imagined. By creating these representations, I attempt to manifest my pursuit of desirable living; always a motivating force but persistently remaining just out of reach.
